Middle School Girls Soccer
Courtesy of Coach Carter: This season, our 8th-grade girls soccer team, primarily composed of 6th and 7th graders, showcased remarkable growth and resilience at American Heritage School. Finishing with a 4-4-1 record, the team secured hard-fought victories against strong opponents. Despite the heartbreaking loss of star player Adalyn Dowdle to a broken leg after scoring a game-tying goal, the girls demonstrated exceptional teamwork and Christian character, supporting one another through challenges. They made significant strides in fundamental skills, strong mentality, and tactical awareness, reflecting the school’s mission to develop hearts, minds, and bodies. We bid a fond farewell to our 8th graders: Alyson Hunsaker, our steadfast goalkeeper; Taryn Davis, a versatile field player; and Adalyn Dowdle, our key goal scorer. Their leadership and spirit will inspire future teams to embody our values of faith, unity, and self-government.
