McGyver Clark Bio
McGyver Clark was a high school athlete at Davis High School, where he helped secure two team state championships and set the 5A state record in the sprint medley relay. He began his coaching career with the Roadrunner Jr. Club, where he coached for two years before becoming the Assistant Head Coach for sprints and hurdles at Timpview High School. At Timpview, Coach Clark played a key role in back-to-back 5A girls’ state championships and seven 5A state records. In three years, he increased the number of student athletes qualifying for state from seven to 28. He has also privately coached elite runners who have captured numerous state and national records and accolades.
Coach Clark graduated from BYU with a degree in economics and worked with the BYU Biomechanics Lab, contributing to research at the intersection of sports science and technology. He is also the innovative co-founder of AlphaPeak, a research think tank pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence in biomechanics.
