MID-SEASON UPDATES

HS Boys Soccer

Come on out to support the team and celebrate our seniors during SENIOR NIGHT TODAY, APR. 16 AT 4 P.M.! This is a big game against St. Joseph’s. The Patriots are currently ranked No. 1 in UHSAA 2A boys soccer, while St. Joe’s is No. 2. AHS is undefeated in Region 17 play and is 8-1 on the season overall. Let’s go, Patriots!

HS Boys Volleyball

The Patriots are off to a great start with an 8-4 record and are situated in second place out of 15 schools in the UHSAA 3A RPI rankings. After winning the USSA Boys Volleyball State Championship last year, the Patriots are participating in the UHSAA’s inaugural boys volleyball season. Way to go, boys!

HS Girls Golf

In their first Region 17 tournament of the season, the Lady Patriots saw senior Bethany Brady take first place individually with a round of 84! Anna Eggertsen tied for third place to help AHS take second place in the team competition, with Gretchen Niemann and Mady Salmon rounding out the scoring for the team. Congratulations, ladies!

The HS track team is off to a great start this year. Multiple school records have been broken this season and more will be broken as the season goes on. New school records for this season are:

Boys Basketball Honor

The boys basketball team was selected to participate in the prestigious Section 7 Basketball Tournament this coming June at State Farm Stadium, the home of the Arizona Cardinals, in Phoenix. Section 7 is an opportunity for the West’s top basketball players to showcase their skills in front of hundreds of Division I, II, and III college basketball coaches. Best of luck, Patriots, and congratulations on earning this highly sought-after opportunity!

Fun track meet for elementary and MS students!

The Soelberg Track Club at American Heritage School is hosting a track meet next Monday, Apr. 22, and AHS elementary and MS students can participate! Details in the flyer below.

Once there, click LOG IN, or most likely you will need to “SIGN UP FOR A FREE ACCOUNT” so click that.
After you have done that, you will be able to register for the meet as an Unattached Athlete in your age group (see info on attached flyer; which also show order of events) in the events that you wish to do.
