Adam joined American Heritage School in 2021 and currently serves in the High School Department of History. He teaches AP U.S. Government & Politics, AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, as well as the beloved Contrasting Views of the Constitution course with David Hancock. In addition to his work at American Heritage School, he is an adjunct professor for Idaho State University and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Adam began his teaching career as a graduate student in 2013 at Idaho State University, where he taught American Government courses. Since then, he has also taught at Brigham Young University–Idaho, Eastern Idaho Community College, and the University of Montana. Adam earned a Doctor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Idaho State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University–Idaho. He lives in Pleasant Grove, Utah with his wife and six children. Outside the classroom, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, reading, tending to his large flock of chickens, and working on building projects around the house.
