LOVE OF FREEDOM
When America’s Founding Fathers forged a constitutional republic and paired it with a free market system, an unprecedented era of human flourishing was launched that has blessed America—and the world—ever since. As our Mission Statement says, American Heritage students develop “a love, understanding and appreciation for American the Founding Fathers” because this precious heritage must be defended and improved upon to extend the blessings of freedom to future generations.
LOVE OF LEARNING
Our Mission Statement declares that AHS students will acquire “the academic knowledge and skills necessary to be able to make self-education a life-long pursuit,” and that “learning to reason and discern between right and wrong, truth and error” is an essential part of the American Heritage experience. Students blossom into the women and men Heavenly Father knows they can become as they discover their talents and expand their minds to be the best instruments in the hands of God that they can be. This is the work of a lifetime, which makes learning how to learn critical.
Our rigorous and robust program offerings include STEM labs, makerspaces and shuttle simulators; the state’s top youth orchestra program; dozens of AP courses; competitive athletics
Exceptional Teachers
educating hearts, minds, and bodies
leads to better student outcomes
Our parents and students tell us that our teachers are the biggest difference makers in their educational experience. Educators who are empowered to draw on the entire spectrum of human knowledge and experience—the spiritual and the intellectual—can reach both the mind and the heart of their students. This powerful combination leads to deeper, lasting change in the lives of our students.
“I LOVE this school! I went there all of high school and it was life changing. Every teacher is so amazing and committed to helping the students and the atmosphere is one of learning, love and respect! If you are looking for a top tier school, not only academically but also just holistically, I would suggest this school over any other!”
“In the last nine years, five of our children have attended AHS ranging from 1st grade to high school graduation and each one of them has loved it there. The teachers are knowledgeable, compassionate, and skillful at empowering students to develop their ability to think critically. As a parent, I have felt support from the administrators and staff as they have always responded immediately to any needs our family has had. The facilities and extracurricular programs are fantastic.”

Come see for yourself!
At American Heritage School, we completely open up our program so you and your child may observe everything in action. We typically spend up to an hour covering those sections of our campus of greatest interest to you. We love your questions and invite you to bring them with you. Our teachers and students are familiar with the occasional tour group quietly entering and observing their classroom for a few minutes.
Tours can be scheduled at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m., Monday through Friday when school is in session. Please use the scheduler below:
Are There Other Ways to Observe the School in Action?
Yes! We know changing schools is a big decision that is never made casually. We invite potential 7–12 grade students to come spend a day with us. The morning begins when your child is introduced to a student ambassador who then accompanies your child through their class schedule, answers questions, makes the necessary introductions, and ultimately helps your child experience the culture, teaching methods, and programs of American Heritage.
