Denise Gorrell began her teaching career as a certified Montessori teacher and directed her own school for 20 years. She earned her Master’s degree in Teaching Through The Arts from Lesley University and first taught at American Heritage school in our second grade school room. She later opened Ambleside Academy, a one room school room serving students ages 5-13, educating her grandchildren at home while remaining a member of the American Heritage family serving families of the Lyceum Orchestra program as Coordinator. She is thrilled to again return to teaching full time in our 4th grade classroom.
