The American Heritage Lyceum Orchestras Program consists of five audition-only ensembles open to students ages 5 to 18. Named the top Arts Organization in the state by Best of State Utah in 2013 and Best Orchestra for seven consecutive years, the Lyceum Orchestra Program has provided world-class musical instruction and performance opportunities to Utah students for over 25 years. Talented young musicians come from across the state to be immersed in this family-friendly, community youth orchestra program hosted by American Heritage School. This award-winning orchestra program is open to students regardless of where they attend school and with five ensembles each at different ability levels, we strive to meet every student at the threshold of their learning.
Each ensemble provides students the opportunity to perform concertos, classical, patriotic, and inspirational music. The Philharmonic 2015-2016 Season includes Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Bernstein Candide Overtre, Grofe’s Grand Canyon Suite, as well as music from our recent albums available on iTunes, Amazon, and Deseret Book. Guest artists for this season includeThe Piano Guys, David Archuleta, Lexi Walker, William Joseph, and more.. The Philharmonic recently performed in the LDS Conference Center with multi-platinum recording artist Jackie Evancho as well as founder and lead violinist of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Mark Wood and GRAMMY-Award winner Michael Martin Murphey. This youth orchestra is also featured on the nationally televised PBS Special with The Piano Guys and has recently performed with The 5 Browns, Alex Boye’, Paul Cardall, Vocal Point, Nathan Pacheco, Daniel Beck, and many more renown recording artists.
The American Heritage Lyceum Philharmonic released its second commercial album entitled “The Master” in April of 2014 and is releasing a Christmas album Fall of 2015 entitled “Holy Night” on the Sounds of Zion recording label.

If you would like more information about the choirs, or to learn how to join, visit the Enrollment page.
Although the mission of American Heritage Youth Chorus is focused on LDS values and beliefs, it is not sponsored by or legally affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We invite you to visit www.lds.orgfor more information about the Church.
