Students currently enrolled in the program who wish to return should fill out an intent to return form by August 1st, 2023 to save their seat for the 2023–24 season. Returning students wishing to advance to a new ensemble must also complete a new audition.

The Heritage Youth Choirs are open to all children and youth in the community, regardless of school affiliation. In-person auditions for the 2023–24 season will take place on August 14, 21, and 28 at the American Fork campus. Singers may also submit a pre-recorded audition. (See below for more details.)

Although the Junior Choir is non-auditioned, singers should still sign up for a time to meet the director. Singers should be prepared to sing a favorite hymn or primary song. Be sure to bring your signed Audition Form and Participation Contract (see below).

Junior Choir Auditions (Grades K–1)

Children’s Choir Auditions (Grades 2–4)

Treble Choir Auditions (Grades 5–7)

Youth Chorus Auditions (Grades 7–12 and changed-voice 7th grade boys)

Singers may choose to submit a pre-recorded audition in place of an in-person audition. For the recording, singers should
  1. Introduce themselves. Name, age, school, hobbies, and other interesting facts.
  2. Perform a favorite hymn or primary song. Either accompanied or unaccompanied is acceptable.
  3. Tell why they chose that particular song.
  4. Sing an ascending scale, beginning with their lowest note up to their highest note.
It is preferable to upload audition videos to an external site (like YouTube or Google Drive) and then share the link.
Send your audition video link along with the Audition Form and Participation Contract (see below) to before the audition deadline.

Singers should fill out the audition form and participation contract (signed by a parent) prior to auditioning:
