Sherrie has worked with children for the past 6 years as a 1st grade teacher this last year and an aide in various AHS elementary classes. A daughter of Linda Strong, one of AHS’s most experienced and tenured primary elementary teachers, Sherrie has learned much from watching her mother teach and serve children through the years. Sherrie wants to challenge each child to reach their full potential. She is committed to helping them feel loved and accepted. “We all have different strengths and weaknesses,” she says, “and by working hard we can turn our weaknesses into strengths.” Sherrie and her husband both grew up in Pleasant Grove and are happy to be raising their children living close to extended family. She has helped her husband manage their family businesses over the years, but her true passion is working with children. They have five children ranging in age from 18 to 7. She enjoys camping and being outdoors with family.
