Why:

Founded in 1970, American Heritage School is a private, non-profit, 501c3 organization. The school accepts no federal, state, or local funding and is supported solely by donations and tuition revenue. AHS is not affiliated with or supported by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; however, the school’s curriculum, honor code, and programs are oriented toward the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. AHS is one of the largest private K–12 schools in Utah, with an on-campus enrollment of 1,000 students and an additional 600 students participating in the school’s community orchestra and choir programs. AHSOnline.org, the school’s distance education program, serves over 5,000 students worldwide.
