2026 HYC AUDITIONS

The Heritage Youth Choirs are open to all children and youth in the community, regardless of school affiliation.

Although our Fall audition period has concluded, we are now accepting auditions for the second half of the school year, which begins in January 2026. We are looking for singers for our Junior, Children’s, and Treble Choirs, as well as Tenors and Basses for the Heritage Youth Chorus.

AUDITIONS DUE DECEMBER 31, 2025

PRE-RECORDED AUDITIONS

Any singers auditioning halfway through the year must submit a pre-recorded audition as in-person auditions will not be offered. For the recording, singers should:
  1. Introduce themselves. Name, age, school, hobbies, and other interesting facts.
  2. Perform a favorite hymn or primary song. Either accompanied or unaccompanied is acceptable.
  3. Tell why they chose that particular song.
  4. Sing an ascending scale, beginning with their lowest note up to their highest note.
Uploading audition videos to an external site (like YouTube or Google Drive) and then sharing the link is preferable.
Send your audition video link and the Audition Form and Participation Contract (see below) to choirs@ahsmail.com before the audition deadline.
